Posted by: MORELLE on Monday August 15, 2016   (429 Reads)
« Le British way of life a transformé la vie quotidienne des Cantiliens », estime Michel Bouchet, ancien journaliste hippique.

Oh, my goodness!

Incredible!!!    more ...

St Peter's Golf Day 2015

Posted by: Webmaster on Tuesday December 15, 2015   (1215 Reads)
In support of APEI Compiègne

Friday 16th October was a rather grey, Autumn day but this did not seem to deter the 50 players and 10 beginners who signed up for a day’s golf courtesy of the Chantilly Golf Club at Vineuil and to support APEI Compiègne.
The APEI Compiègne’s mission is to support and to accompany the families of intellectually handicapped people of which there are two within the St Peters community.

A warm welcome was received by all at the club and registration, golf balls, pens and hats were distributed. The Pro introduction, course details etc. were delivered and play began….

The rain stayed away and all the players enjoyed a day of good, bad or indifferent golf, time spent with friends new and old, finishing back in the club house for (edited)tails, nibbles and prizes. The generosity of the donations for the prize giving was staggering and our Vicar Nick and his brother, having managed a very respectable score received second prize to enthusiastic support.

The day was flawlessly organized by Xavier Rijmenans, Geoffrey and Karen Dys and supported by the St Peters CGA. A huge thank you to all who contributed to making this a thoroughly enjoyable, and memorable day.
A total of 5000 € was raised for APEI charity and a further 1000€ for St Peters restoration fund.

St. Peter’s Charitable Giving Association is the charitable branch of the St Peter’s Church in Chantilly. (loi 1901) It was established in 2013 and its objective is to collect and distribute donations to people in need.
In a spirit of Christian solicitude, we support projects in France and elsewhere.
