St. Peter's Church, Chantilly, is a primarily English-speaking Christian community made up of members of many different nationalities and denominations. It is part of the Church of England Diocese in Europe, which is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion of churches, which are usually known as either Anglican or Episcopalian churches.
After many years of financial support from the Intercontinental Church Society (ICS), up until the 1980s, St Peter's now relies entirely on the giving of its congregation to finance its resident chaplain and all the building running expenses, maintenance and upkeep. Many members of St. Peter’s have pledged to support the church by a regular financial commitment and this has been an enormous help in the management and stewardship of our finances. However we currently have a shortfall between expenditure and income.
