Sunday 16th July: two worship services by Rev. Chris Martin

Posted by: MORELLE on Saturday July 15, 2017

We are very grateful that he has travelled from Scotland to be with us.

9h00 Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
10h30 Family Communion
Our young people's groups have now finished for the summer but all are welcome in church.

Taking part in sunday Services
We would love more members of the congregation to take part in leading parts of our Sunday Services including welcoming people (sidesperson in our church jargon!). It would be especially enriching if more people led the prayers, and we are short on sidespeople. So if you would like to share your gifts in any way please don't hesitate to see Sarah when she is back or one of the wardens.

Summer (Tuesday) praise-ups
The next summer praise up will be in Coye La Forêt on Tuesday 25th July, so the week after next. All welcome to come at 19h00 for a light meal (please bring some food to contribute!) with prayer and praise starting around 20h00. Gordon and Monika ask if you could let them know beforehand if you plan to come.

Visit to refugee families Monday 17th July
The visit to see the refugee families in Senlis will be on Monday 17th July at 14h00
Address: ADOMA, 1 chaussée Brunehaut, 60300 SENLIS.
Please let Tiffany, Régis, or Henny know if you intend to come. Either go directly to this address which is close to Tiffany's home in Senlis, or meet up in Chantilly. Once we know who is coming we will make arrangements for meeting up. Please bring donations if you have them.
Parents please accompany your children. If that is not possible, we do have some car spaces. Please phone Tiffany to make or confirm arrangements.

Save the Date - Rentrée Apéritif 16th September
Having checked the date with a few people the 16th is better than the 9th, so please note the revised date for this annual event where we invite members of the wider community to join us.

Bonnes vacances à toutes et à tous,
On behalf of Rev. Sarah Tillett (Chaplain)
