The Church wardens will be admitted to office by Rev. Sarah Tillett, on behalf of the Bishop, during the service.
Following the service there will be a bring and share lunch. All are very welcome.
Youth and children’s ministry
The Sunday School will be starting in the Church Centre at 10.30am and joining us in Church for communion. (Theme - Ascending into heaven)
The Way will be starting in the sous sol with breakfast at 10.15am. All young people aged 11 or more are welcome.

The hawthorn bushes, also known as May flower appropriately, are out in full flower and smelling of honey and the promise of summer.
The Sun shone brightly on us at the Monastere des Clarisses in Senlis as we completed the confirmation preparation course. It was a great privilege to spend the day worshipping, praying and learning with members of ‘The Way’ last Tuesday. Ben, Sam, Anna, Alice Jemima, Philip, William, Liam, Gabrielle, Tatiana, Pablo, Laurence, Anna, Rochelle and Natasha will be confirmed together with Régis on Pentecost Sunday. We give thanks to God for them and for their journey so far. Please pray for them that they will continue to grow in their knowledge of God’s love for them. ‘
That out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And that they being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.’ Ephesians 3:16 – 19
We also give thanks for the leaders of the Way for their faithful nurturing of these gorgeous young people.
We are really looking forward to welcoming Bishop Robert and his wife Helen to St Peter’s for the Confirmation service and celebrating together. Come and support them as they affirm their baptism vows and make a public declaration of their faith. It is also an opportunity for the whole community to re-affirm their baptism promises in the service.

Films au Cinéma Élysée de Chantilly
Notre paroisse a pris l'habitude de faire venir au Cinéma Élysée de Chantilly, à peu près une fois par trimestres scolaires, des films spirituels et/ou chrétiens, d’inspiration parfois plutôt évangéliques, parfois plutôt catholiques, souvent films étrangers importés par SAJE.
Nous sommes en outre en train d'essayer de monter une petite équipe qui pourrait modestement proposer à chaque séance, un accueil et un petit débat sur place.

20th May - Confirmation Service
The Rt. Revd. Dr. Robert Innes the Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe and Chief Pastor of the Diocese in Europe, will confirm a number of candidates from Saint Peter's. This is a very special day and to celebrate this occasion St. Peter’s would like to offer a “vin d’honour” accompanied with finger food nibbles after the service. The Kingdom Come – pledge2pray 10th-20th May
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and e(edited)enical call to prayer.
· people will commit to pray with God’s world-wide family - as a church, individually or as a family;
· churches will hold prayer events, such as 24-7 prayer, prayer stations and prayer walks, across the UK and in other parts of the world;
· people will be empowered through prayer by the Holy Spirit, finding new confidence to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.
